Job Description

The firm have recognised that they are short of senior individuals in market facing roles. As a result they have increased their headcount budget to 3x that of their competitors and are giving their current senior team more autonomy and flexibility to focus on the areas they enjoy and are successful in.  

 

Recent partners have been promoted, with the previous heads of Indirect Tax going onto either the senior  leadership team or to head up overseas projects, meaning there is a clear, transparent succession plan in place with the team needing future partners.

 

The firm have a clear vision for their next director hire(s) to be partners within the next 2-3 years. However, the current partners are insistent successful directors can progress as quickly as they want with previous directors having been in the post as little as a year before making partnership. The current partners are currently bringing in an impressive £15m in revenue meaning the successful candidate would be joining a top performing team & looking to grow it further, as opposed to joining and having to drive a stagnant team. The firm has understandably stressed a preference for high end candidates, candidates who are looking to move on for greater progression and freedom in terms of the role, and their capacity of work. If you are currently a Senior Manager or Director with plans to make partnership and go beyond then the firm have a proven track record in helping/making people achieve that.

 

The client has stated that they would ideally like to have an idea of their team for next year by the end of June, meaning they will move quickly with a streamlined process in place.
