Job Description

We are looking for a Director / Senior Director who specialises in business transformation and performance improvement within the IT industry.

This particular role sits alongside the other Directors within the Business Transformation team and will work closely with the corporate finance team on broader projects.

Responsibilities will include: -

  • Providing pre-deal Commercial, operational and technology due diligence and company analysis
  • Supporting post-merger integration and/or carve out support, which could include, Day-1 and 100-day planning
  • Creating and implementing specific business strategies for clients, which includes utilising IT & operational levers to drive new or current business value
  • Realign the performance through operational improvements to positively impact the earnings and cashflow within the business
  • Take interim management positions for example (and depending on experience) CEO, CIO, CFO etc.

Experience needed: -

  • A minimum 10 years’ experience in IT Project and Programme methodologies and processes including program delivery or within an online or technology-centric business or within a consulting business
  • Pre-deal IT and Technology due diligence of the corporate IT function, as well as core technologies and digital assets, and with a focus on the technology costs and capital investment plans
  • Commercial exposure to SLAs and third-party management; managing and negotiating third party vendor contracts
  • Experience of one of more global ERP / software systems / vendors (e.g. SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Salesforce etc.)
  • Proven skills in IT cost reduction initiatives. This includes containing and reducing the Operational and Capital IT expenditure of the enterprise
  • Can quickly establish credibility – the successful appointee will have substantial operational business experience, not just the theoretical view.
  • Educated to university degree level (or equivalent), preferably in a numerical degree or that has a numerical element.
  • Fluency in one or more European languages is highly desirable
  • MA or MBA qualification is highly desirable
