FINALLY….Our refreshed website is now live!
The new responsive interface is far more user-friendly and we also have a mobile version for you to search jobs on the go! Have a browse around and maybe even share your thoughts with a Tweet (@HarveyRec)!
Beyond the refreshed look and style we now have an excellent system in which candidates can register their interest in specialist areas and be automatically pinged an email when any relevant roles appear on the market. This is ideal for those out there who are perfectly happy at their role, but would look twice at something exciting and new on the other side of the fence. Let us reach out to you with a non-intrusive email giving you a snapshot of what’s out there.
Aside from website design, we have been keeping ourselves busy with recruitment.
We are pleased to have seen an increase in the Restructuring and Insolvency market on the accountancy side with roles from Assistant Manager upwards, and our Directors have been busy on a Partner search in the Midlands. While we always cover the UK region, we have spread our wings a bit further in the past couple of months and are presently recruiting for roles in the Caymans, BVI and Hong Kong (ideal for those seeking something different and obviously constant sunshine which Britain seems unable to provide!).
The R&I lawyers have also been seeing movement with a large number of Partner roles available for both contentious and non-contentious candidates. At the more junior end the focus is on non-contentious work with opportunities for lawyers from 1 year PQE all the way up to 8 years.
We are seeking an Employment Law Partner for a small boutique firm in London and speaking to Senior Associates considering partnership, as well as well-established Partners.
The past few months have seen a huge incline in the expat and employment market, with the top 6 accountancy firms seeing an increase in work and many employees going on long-term global secondments, leaving openings for new people to join. London, Manchester, Edinburgh…the requirements spread far and wide from junior level to senior manager. Get in touch for more information as there is plenty to discuss!
As usual, reward never seems to calm down but it’s definitely not something we ever complain about. Working with those from Big4 down to smaller niche firms, from assistant manager to director, there are always positions for those looking and we are happy to have a chat just to discuss the market.
